-I wrapped up my vintage dress, which found a new owner-

-I popped to buy some coffee in an old art deco shop-
-I can't ever resist a beautiful daisy bouquet-
-Bumped into a vintage car... an aqua one!-
-And finally I discovered this beautiful and unusual part of town!-

A warm spring has started. I'm very sorry for not having updated my blog... I've been so busy with exams and everyday life, both of which sucked all of my spare time.
[our clematis is in full bloom, I love it!]
But from now on I promise I will dedicate myself to posting more, I'm full of inspiration and feel slightly thrilled... maybe it is the spring air? For now, here are a few pictures from my weekend. The boys in the band are friends of mine and are really great! They are a Beach Boys tribute band and they play surf music which makes me dive into the California sea of my beloved 1960's!

I've made myself a mermaid costume! I used: a prom dress from the 50s, a net with glued seashells on it from an old bathroom decoration, cardboard covered in a shimmery shawl for the tail which I attached at the bottom of the skirt, and transparent fishing wire for hanging it from my hand. Voila!
Why all this you wonder?
Because on Mardi Gras, with my friends, I went diving in a fun sea party!

Such a fantastic weekend: when I woke up on Saturday morning and looked out of my window, everything was covered in powdered sugar! Of course I rushed outside to admire the enchanting sight and to play with the snow - partly as an excuse to recover from the cold in a warm bakery straight after that! I hope you all had a magical weekend too!
