Waiting for a few friends to enjoy a good cup of chocolate mousse that I just made.
I followed a simple and genuine recipe inherited from my grandma: I just mixed two egg yolks with sugar, flour, milk and powdered chocolate, cooking it on the stove for a few minutes.
A simple and quick dessert to be served cold!

I can say that I know the movie Julie & Julia practically by heart, and yet the more I watch it the cuter it gets ( I've always been a great fan of Nora Ephron's movies, I just wish she made them more often)!
What a fantastic combination, vintage + food!
Among my favorite details from the movie there are the adorable old-style aprons used by Amy Adams while cooking. So I found some fabric almost identical to one of Julie's aprons and I sew one for myself (oops, I realized too late I had sewn the stripes in the wrong direction)!
Anyway whenever I wear it I feel like I'm becoming better in the kitchen! ;-)
